HORIZON AGLOW - (If you would like to purchase this image as a digital file then please CONTACT me to discuss).

Taken after the sun had set when the sky turned dark orange and the sea an inky blue. Aultbea and part of the Isle of Ewe are in silhoutte and the lights of Aultbea and boats at sea can clearly be seen.
Aultbea is still a NATO refuelling location and from time to time you will see warships in the harbour. During the Second World War, this was the base for the convoys that carried supplies to Russia.
